"The program used is called JAlbum (do a google search for it). It is in Java,
runs anywhere, and creates static web pages you can upload to any site.
Caption support is there, and there are different templates that you can
customize. (I created a custom template for hiphut that adapted one of the existing ones.)
I personally dislike sites that have a link to go back -- it wrecks the
"back-button" history and metaphor of browsing." - xdg
